I brought the yale safe trusting in the brand name and was not disapointed. The build quality and sturdy design does not let the brand down. The interior light is usefull and the padded shelving does help protect your valubales. The safe came with all the nessasary bolts to secure to the floor and was pretty straight forward to do. I did struggle with the very small print in the instructions supplied and had to screen shot them and blow them up on my phone which was a little frustrating, but I could recommend this safe to anyone with a budget of around £150

The Yale Maximum Security Home Safe is designed to protect cash and valuables such as jewellery from theft and has a recommended insurance rating of £2,000 cash or £20,000 valuables with a Silver award in the Sold Secure Accreditation** scheme. This home safe is secured by an electronic combination lock including a blue LCD which is powered by 4 x AA batteries (included). For additional peace of mind it is possible to override the electronic lock by a 6 lever high security double bitted key lock (supplied with one key).

When the safe door is opened extra bright internal LED lighting reveals a felt lined interior and one removable shelf. This safe is also ready prepared for floor or wall fixing via pre-drilled holes in both the back and base of the safe. Fixing bolts are included.

** Sold Secure Accreditation is a certification scheme, based on attack testing, set up by the Police with the help of the Home Office. It is administered by the Master Locksmiths Association, which works closely with Police and insurance companies.

I’m very happy with the safe I purchased from you a few months ago. It seems to be very sturdy and well made, it’s very secure with the 8 digit code and has an override key in case I forget the code. It’s ideal for keeping A4 size documents such as title deeds etc. Overall very pleased.

Instructions were not very clear to me on how to set the code.I phoned the manufacturer and they talked me through the process. It is a very nice sturdy safe.I was surprised by the amount of room onside.Overall really pleased with my purchace and good value for money.

Hi - this might be an obvious question but is the battery required to operate the digital lock? So if the battery runs out does the digital lock itself not function? (or is it just the backlight that doesn't function)

This safe is battery operated and requires battery power to open and lock the door. You will receive a warning when power is running low and you are supplied with a back up key, for use in emergencies.

Standard Safe <25kg Installation

We offer professional installation on our complete range of lightweight safes under 25kgs.

Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your safe.

Your installation will include bolting the safe to the floor or wall using the anchor bolts included with your safe. Anchor bolts are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete. We cannot install your safe to floorboards or a stud plasterboard wall.

If you are choosing a wall installation you must ensure the skirting board has been removed prior to installation.

The position of your safe will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes/cables or under floor heating.

The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the safe is secure before providing a brief demonstration of your safe and confirming the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.

Additional Information

Non-standard Installation

In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

  • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
  • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
  • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
  • Road closure including necessary permits.
  • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

These additional elements are deemed to fall outside the definition of a 'Standard Installation'. If you feel your installation might be non-standard please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

If applicable, additional costs are to be paid before installation begins.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:
