FireKing MLT4 Lateral Fire Resistant Filing Cabinet

The Fireking Lateral fire resistant filing cabinets are available in three sizes, MLT2 two drawer, MLT3 3 drawer and MLT4 4 drawer. All models are tested by the American Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and fulfil the most stringent requirements. Each cabinet under goes a heat-test of 1 hour at 1000°C, these filing cabinets are also subjected to a sustained explosion and free-fall-test of around nine metres.

Each closed drawer forms a separate fire resistant space, even if another drawer will protect its contents in the event of a fire. All sizes are fire resistant for up to 60 minutes for paper.

Manufactured in USA the FireKing Lateral Series allows for both A4 and Foolscap files by use of an adjustable filing frame.

The Fireproof filing cabinets are secured by key lock supplied with two and an independent locking mechanism on each drawer allows separate drawers to be locked at any one time.
