The Phoenix Vertical Firefile 2240 Series available in 2 sizes, 2242 (2 drawer) and 2244 (4 drawer) offer 1½ hours fire resistance at a temperature in excess of 1045°C.

Phoenix Safes unique, light-weight specification, developed for the aerospace industry uses state of the art multi-layered insulation. This material combines extremely low thermal conductivity with high thermal shock characteristics and when encased in the rigid galvanised steel body, provides a file of great strength and fire resistance.

One high security keylock operates each drawer independently. Each drawer may be isolated to provide a combination of locked and unlocked drawers at any one time. Electronic combination locking is also available on the 2242e and 2244e.

Able to accommodate foolscap, A4 and A5 files on width adjustable filing rails.

Each drawer is capable of carrying a colossal 50kgs of filing, way beyond the standard requirement.

High security electronic locking available as an optional extra on all models.

Optional Data Protection Insert 08 ( DPI08 ) available to protect computer media.

Electronic lock

Electronic Combination Lock

This product is equipped with a battery powered electronic combination lock. This type of lock only allows entry when a PIN code is entered into the keypad. The PIN code is user changeable and the combinations can range from 4 up to a maximum of 16 digits.
Paper (from fire) rated at 90 minutes

Fire/Paper

This safe is suitable for protecting paper from fire. The safe's internal temperature will remain below 177°C, the approximate combustible temperature of paper for a period of 90 minutes.
