Phoenix Fire Ranger 1511e

The Phoenix Fire Ranger 1510 Series is available in 4 sizes with either key lock or electronic combination lock and provides protection against fire and burglary attack.

The Fire Ranger provides up to 30 minutes fire protection for paper documents and has a cash rating of £1,000 cash or £10,000 jewellery or valuables.*

The safes are made from steel with a double wall construction incorporating a 50mm fire gap filled with multi-layered insulation material. High security 3 way espagnolette bolt-work provides great strength and attack resistance.

Low weight and floor loading is achieved by use of advanced fire resistant materials making the cupboards suitable for upper floors.

Pros

This safe is absolutely perfect for me. Loads of room, relatively secure. I am considering another one as it make for perfect secure storage of important files. The safe is strong, and seems to close almost air tight - great fit. No rattlin which was one of my concerns.

Cons

I suppose that it is not 100% secure if you are in an environment of professional crime, but for me this safe completely gives me the security of knowing that you are not about to take it down three flights of stairs and then crack it open with a tool. Sue if someone knows what they are doing and specialises in breaking into safes, I would not think it give you this protection.

Pros

very easy to use, looks better than expected

Cons

shelves inside the safe are not that easy to install and seems that they don't stay in place. Not sure, maybe we didn't install them correctly.
