The safe is well made, rather heavy and solid all around. When bolted down with the supplied screws, only the most determined thieve can move it away. The white LED light in the interior is reasonably bright, a proper nice touch. The metal shelf and supplied felt liner are also consistent with the high quality of this safe. The only let down may be the 4 plastic fixtures which support the internal shelf may be a little flimsy and when not careful the shelf may fall and so you have securely attach and align them. You really get what you pay for in this case. Service from TheSafeShop is pretty good and delivery prompt. Will not hesitate to buy from them again.

Ease of use includes ease of DIY installation and ease of setting up. Build quality? –– our insurance company likes it. It is plenty big enough for us (the storage / exterior size ratio is good). A safe is not a thing where you want to compromise security for cheapness. We think this strikes the right balance. Yes, I would recommend it.

The actual safe is excellent and it was surprisingly easy to fit.

What is not excellent is the shelf fittings. These are plastic and do not stay in their holes in the side walls. Every time you take something from the safe the shelf collapses and you have to fiddle about (on your hands and knees in our case) to rehang it.

Ease of fitting, ease of use, looks good seems very secure although no-one has tried to break into it yet!! Good value for money.

The delivery person from tuffnells was extremely helpful and with my assistance (40kg) where to locate. It was delivered on a small wooden pallet with strappex securing in place, making lifting a breeze. Installation within a cupboard was easy with supplied fixing to concrete. The safe is extremely easy to use and set PIN codes, this one allows two codes to be set. Having installed within a cupboard the integrated LED lights come on, highlighting the contents perfectly. Being a chubb the build quality is excellent, smooth finish no sharp edges inside or out. Location of the safe was decided upon before ordering, therefore dictating to a degree the size, that said its perfect for my requirements.

The safe is very robust and secure, not cheap at around £400 but you get what you pay for, so good value for money.
