I did not opt for the fitting service as I did not consider it good value for money. The fitter was not prepared to drill the concrete floor

cut out the carpet or cut out the skirting .My handy man did it all for less money securing it against the wall and against the floor.I only wish I opted for a bigger size as

I was really impressed with the safe when it arrived. I had got engaged and our home insurer had insisted that we fit a safe. I joked with my Fiance you get a ring, I get a safe!

It was relatively easy to fit with the option of rear or bottom fixing. The combination was easy to set, but you need to remember to change the Master code as well. I did manage to get some use out of it, as I am now able to safely store my watch collection. I would recommend this safe and any in this range.

A good valued safe, with the security rating needed for home insurance. Bit tight getting a drill in to getting it secured to wall or floor

The Chubbsafe was easy to attach to the wall although I had to buy longer screws as it would not attach securely to the depth of the wall.

It is easy to access either by key or by a security number and locks automatically when the door is closed.

The size is perfect for my needs and the storage capacity is ample and has a removable shelf which helps increase the height capacity.

I managed to find a hidden place for my safe and it is now securely attached to the wall.

I'm now content that my valuables are safe and secure and am happy that I have purchased an item that is good value for money.

A very good general purpose safe which is easy to use and easy to set up. I love the security of a backup power via external battery and the fail safe key too in case the internal batteries run out. INstallation instructions were clear, and assuming you have the right tools (a good quality drill - preferably hammer drill to install in concrete as recommended), plus a very necessary extra pair of hands to help lower the safe into the drill holes, installation is a breeze. Tried doing it single handed and didn't factor in the weight of the safe - not simple! Good product and excellent service too. Recommended

We have been really very pleased with this Chubb safe product. It was purchased when we moved house – we had an existing Chubb Safe but had agreed to leave it behind and wanted to purchase a replacement. The initial plan was to purchase the same safe again, but we discovered that the product had been upgraded and now available with a new touch screen option. The newer model with the touch screen is slick, very easy to use and also looks really smart. It was easy to fit and is just the right size. Our overall experience has been excellent all round.
