Delivery


England

All prices quoted on this website include FREE standard delivery to UK mainland addresses only. Non-UK mainland delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and Shetland Islands are available but will be subject to an additional charge.

We also offer International delivery on the majority of our products but this will also be subject to an additional charge.

In all cases deliveries will require a signature on receipt of delivery. If no one is available to sign for your order we advise giving an alternate delivery address which can be completed on our online order form.

Free Standard Delivery - UK Mainland Only

Due to the varying size and weight of the products we deliver, several different types of FREE standard delivery are available with varying delivery lead times. In most cases only one free delivery type is available but for certain products we may offer several delivery options. Full details regarding delivery options and lead times are listed on each individual product page.

With the exception of Royal Mail Special Delivery all free standard delivery services are only available to delivery addresses with a delivery route which includes a maximum of two steps. If your delivery route includes more than two steps please see our delivery via stairs options below.

Our FREE standard delivery types are:

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery
    Available for small lightweight items only (under 1.5kgs). This service is free of charge and includes delivery to your main building entrance only.

  • Ground Floor Drop Off
    This service is free of charge and includes delivery to your main building entrance only.

  • Ground Floor
    This service is free of charge and includes delivery to any room on the ground floor of your building. The item will be brought inside the building and positioned in a place of your choosing and all packaging will be removed and disposed of.

    Warning - Heavy Goods Delivery

    Please note that all our prices on heavy goods include delivery inside your building to a location of your choice providing delivery is to the ground floor. Sadly in an attempt to make prices appear more attractive it has become common practice for some competitor websites to display prices which only include delivery to your front door.

    This is common on lightweight items however if the product you are ordering is heavy this can present a problem as a safe or cabinet weighing anywhere between 100 - 1000kgs can be difficult if not impossible to move without the correct equipment or necessary man power.

    In some cases you may be offered the option to add this service at an extra cost (between 10% - 15% of the order value) or not at all. We do not charge extra for this service.

  • Upper or Lower Floor via a Lift This service is free of charge and includes delivery to any floor and room in your building via a suitable lift. The item will be positioned in a place of your choosing and all packaging will be removed and disposed of.

    Please ensure the product you intend to order does not exceed the maximum load of your lift before ordering this service.

Delivery via Stairs - UK Mainland Only

Due to the size and weight of the products we offer we may be forced to charge a delivery fee if your delivery route includes more than two steps. For items weighing less that 50kgs when only three or four steps are involved there may be no additional charge but we must always check with our courier to avoid aborted deliveries and consequent charges.

Chargeable deliveries are generally applicable when a product is being delivered to an upper or lower floor via a flight of steps. If this is the case or you are at all unsure please either complete our pre-delivery questionnaire or contact us on 01772 793792.



Non-UK Mainland Delivery

We are more than happy to deliver our products to non-UK mainland delivery addresses such as Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and Shetland Islands but there will be an additional delivery charge. International Delivery

Aborted Delivery

An aborted delivery can be due either to missing delivery information such as more steps at the delivery address than originally stated on your order or out of service lifts, inaccessible doors.
